Congratulations to the Lisbon Greyhounds for their 2-0 victory over the Mt. Abram Roadrunners in capturing the 2022 MVC Baseball Championship. 

Caleb Phillips slammed a solo home run in the fourth inning to give the Greyhounds the only run they would need. In the fifth inning. Jimmy Fitzsimmons walked and eventually scored to give Lisbon the 2-0 lead.

Hunter Brissette pitched 7 strong inning for the undefeated Greyhounds to earn the victory. He took a no-hitter into the sixth inning before Kaden Pillsbury hit a one-out single for the only Mt. Abram hit of the game. He struck out 10 while walking only 2 batters. Trevor Phelps took the loss for the Roadrunners.
