The cooperative team of Boothbay and Wiscasset captured the 2021 Boys MVC Cross Country Championship on October 16th at the University of Maine at Augusta. The champions scored 48 points to edge the Monmouth Academy, who had a score of 54. Winthrop finished 3rd with 62 points.

 

Brosnan Comeau of Monmouth was the first to cross the finish line with a time of 17:37. Mt. Abram's Jeff Warnock was second, crossing the finish line in 18:22. Abrahm Geissinger of Spruce Mountain took the final podium spot, completing the course in 18:38. All three of the top three finishers are juniors.

 

The top five scorers for Boothbay/Wiscasset were Lucas Hardwick, Dominick Dow, Ryan Clark, Gryffin Kristan and Austin Trask.
