The Roadrunners of Mt. Abram High School, 12-0 during the regular season, defeated 11-2 Lisbon 2-0 to claim the 2021 MVC Boys Soccer Championship on October 11th.
After a scoreless first half, Wyatt Sieminski opened the scoring for the Salem, Maine team with a goal at 23:21, assisted by Charlie Pye. Charlie Pye scored his own goal at 19:34, assisted by Hunter Durland.
Goalkeeper Ian Allen had 6 saves on 6 Lisbon shots for Mt. Abram. Sean Moore turned away 10 of 12 Mt. Abram shots for the Greyhounds.
Mt. Abram enters the postseason as the #1 seed in Southern Maine Class C while Lisbon is slotted as #3 in the final Heal Point standings.
